Pochettino asked whether he is prioritising the Champions League or Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur take on Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League tomorrow night, just a few days after their win at home to Leicester in the Premier League.

Luckily the first leg is due to be played at Wembley, so there is no travel involved, but Poch may have been forced to tweak his team selections from game to game this week.

The winner over the Champions League round of 16 two legs will qualify for the quarter finals of the elite competition.

Spurs are also flying high in the Prem at the moment, just five points off the top of the table.

With injuries to Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Ben Davies, and now Danny Rose, Pochettino must decide whether to prioritise one competition over the other, or risk playing the same XI and the potential fatigue that may follow.

Poch was asked in his presser which competition he is prioritising this year.

He said (Football London): “When you are at a club like Tottenham you cannot take one or another competition more seriously. You need to try to compete at your best and win every single game and in every single competition to try to go as far as you can. After the defeats against Chelsea and Crystal Palace we are out of the domestic cups and then of course tomorrow we have the Champions League and then the Premier League. We prepare and want to win every single game.”
