Pochettino believes his side are not favourites for the top four

Tottenham Hotspur may still be basking in the sunshine of their first leg Champions League quarter final win over Man City on Tuesday night, but they have another task at hand this weekend.

Spurs are still very much in the hunt for a top four spot next season, guaranteeing more Champions League football.

Tottenham are currently fourth in the table, behind Chelsea, but with a game in hand on their London rivals.

Chelsea sit on 66 points, with Spurs on 64, Arsenal on 63, and Man United on 61.

Tottenham have just six games left this season, with four of them coming at home, the first of which is tomorrow afternoon against Huddersfield Town.

Huddersfield have already been relegated from the Premier League, and Tottenham will kick themselves if they are to drop any points against the 20th place team.

However, complacency in the Premier League can result in losing to any team at any time.

Pochettino does not believe that his team are favourites to finish in a top four spot (Football London): “Watching the past few years, I don’t believe we are favourite. I think we are below them, but in our belief and our confidence maybe we are above them. We trust in ourselves and confident we are going to get the top four. Of course, it is going to be tough and it’s so exciting and amazing for everyone, for us not so much.”
