Pochettino believes the team is reaping the rewards of this partnership

Tottenham Hotspur are flying in every single competition they are in so far this season.

Pochettino’s men moved to second in the Premier League after a battering of Bournemouth yesterday, shifting ahead of current holders Manchester City.

Only the unbeaten Liverpool remain above the North London side, and they will surely now begin their hunt in chasing them down too.

Spurs have also already qualified for the first semi-final of the campaign, as they are set to face Chelsea across two legs in the Carabao Cup come the new year.

The Champions League is also still a reality for Tottenham after they pulled off one of the greatest turn arounds in recent history.

They come up against an in form Borussia Dortmund in February when the competition resumes.

Due to injuries to Dembele, Dier, and Wanyama, Pochettino has been unable to rotate his centre mids as often as he would like.

This means that Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko have run the show in the middle of the park for the majority of the holiday fixtures, and Poch believes the side are reaping the rewards of the pair’s performances.

He said (Football London): “I think it is difficult to say nothing wrong. They are playing so well, enjoying football and the mix between them is fantastic. They are working together very well and the team is getting the benefit of this partnership.”
