Pochettino claims he hopes to spend at least three more years at Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing for their latest Champions League match against Red Star Belgrade this evening after thrashing the Serbian side 5-0 back in North London.

Pochettino will be desperately hoping for a result from the match after his side have won just four games from a possible 15 so far this season. This comes just over five months after making the Champions League Final in Madrid.

Spurs are already out of the Carabao Cup after Colchester United defeated them on penalties, as well as being handed another embarrassment as Bayern Munich thrashed them 7-2 at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Tottenham are also now in the bottom half of the Premier League after a recent loss to Liverpool and draw against Everton on Sunday.

Asked if he thought his time at Tottenham could be coming to an end soon, Pochettino claimed that he hoped it was not as he still has three years on his contract and he wants to see that out.

There was no mention on what could happen after those three years are up, but it appears the Argentine wants to remain at the club for at least that period of time.

He said (Football London): “I hope not! We still have three years left on our contract and I hope to finish the contract.”
