Pochettino comments on Harry Kane’s bad day at the office

Tottenham Hotspur’s incredible December run of wins came to a disappointing halt against Wolves in the Premier League yesterday afternoon.

Pochettino’s men actually led at half time through a wonderful Harry Kane strike, but collapsed to a 3-1 defeat by conceding three second half goals in the space of 15 minutes.

Spurs has only just clambered into the title race to see themselves knocked firmly back to outsiders, as Liverpool smashed five past Arsenal in a win of their own later the same day.

Tottenham are now nine points behind the League leaders, and may also fall behind Manchester City after they next play.

Mauricio Pochettino was asked about main man Harry Kane’s bad day at the office in his press conference.

Kane managed to score a fantastic left-footed goal, and get booked for diving, all without having a single touch of the ball in the opposition penalty area.

Pochettino said it was unfair to concentrate on one player.

He said (Football London): “I think it’s difficult to talk only about him. I think he scored a great goal, but in the end he’s not happy like us because we didn’t win and we lost the three points.”
