Pochettino comments on Tottenham being in the bottom half of the Premier League table

Tottenham Hotspur may have secured top four last season in the Premier League and even looked close to pushing Man City and Liverpool for the title at one point, but things have changed in North London.

Spurs have struggled to maintain their form in the 2019/20 campaign, failing to pick up consistent wins along the way.

In fact, in the Premier League, Spurs have won just three out of ten matches. The Lilywhites have lost four to Liverpool, Leicester, Brighton, and Newcastle, drawing the remaining three fixtures.

As such, Tottenham now reside in the bottom half of the Premier League table, not the ideal position for a club that made the Champions League Final a matter of months ago.

However, Mauricio Pochettino is adamant that it matters where his club finishes at the end of the season, not where they are right now.

He also claimed that the team needs to remain positive:

Poch said (Football London): “We need to be positive, feel that positivity and make us believe that we can beat any team. At the moment we struggle with our confidence, we drop a lot. That’s only time. The most important thing is how we’re going to finish, it’s not this moment.”
