Pochettino considers selling first team star to fund new signing

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to move along some ageing stars this summer to make room for mew younger, up and coming signings.

One player who may see the Spurs exit door is England right back Kieran Trippier, after enduring his worst season in a Lilywhite shirt.

Ever since starring for England at the World Cup in Russia, Trippier has been unable to regularly stay injury free or maintain a high level of performance.

The repeated mistakes have seen the crowd get on Trippier’s back, and he has become a sort of scapegoat for recent bad form.

The Express now claim that Pochettino could cash in on Kieran to make room for Crystal Palace youngster Aaron Wan Bissaka.

If Spurs are to bring the young English right back in, it is likely that either Tripps or Aurier will be sold.

However, Trippier may be seen as more valuable as he is counts as a home grown player.
