Pochettino could go on £100m spending spree

Tottenham Hotspur failed to sign any players in the summer transfer window, becoming the first ever Premier League team to achieve this record.

However, a report by The Express claims that Pochettino may go on a £100m January spending spree to make up for lost time come the opening of the winter window.

Spurs are currently without first team stars Christian Eriksen, Mousa Dembele, Jan Vertonghen, Dele Alli, Danny Rose, Luke Amos and Vincent Janssen.

Poch may feel that his dwindling squad needs an injection of life once January rolls around.

Spurs fans will be hoping the spending spree is an attempt to push for the title rather than merely top four come the new year, as they currently sit only two points off the lead after their best ever Premier League season start.

The Express claim that Spurs may look to splash out on West Brom youngster Oliver Burke, Tanguy N’Dombele, and Eric Bailly.

Would this be a successful chunk of business, Spurs fans?
