Tottenham Hotspur put themselves firmly in the hunt for a top four position this season after yet another away win at Leicester last night.
The well-earned three points kept Spurs’ third place secure, away from the lurking Arsenal and Chelsea.
However, Tottenham also made up ground on the former-leaders Manchester City after they dropped three points to Chelsea.
So, are Spurs still in with a shout of the title?
We’re not even at Christmas yet, so it is really impossible to rule out any of those top five teams in the league at the moment.
All five are playing well, and all five are picking up some good points, as was as wins against each other.
It could and should be a far tighter affair than last season, and if Spurs enjoy their usual Christmas success, then they should be firmly in the hunt come the new year.
Pochettino discussed whether Spurs are in with a shot (Football London): “The reality is that we are there fighting, in a very good position with of course Liverpool, City, Chelsea and Arsenal. That is the reality. Another thing is if we are capable of being consistent through the whole season in that position and increase our level and try to fight with these type of sides that are today maybe one step over us.”
