Tottenham Hotspur became the first ever Premier League side not to sign a single new player in the summer transfer window this season.
However, that won’t stop them offloading talent this January, as they look to recoup some funds on certain players.
With some coming towards the end of their contracts, and others clearly not in Poch’s plans, it makes sense for the club to get what little money they can.
The likes of Fernando Llorente, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, Vincent Janssen, Michel Vorm, Mousa Dembele, and Victor Wanyama are all potential outgoings this month.
Pochettino was asked to update the press on any sales news in his press conference today, just a few days after Spurs had reportedly accepted a bid from a Chinese club for Mousa Dembele (Sky Sports).
Poch however, kept his mouth firmly closed, instead claiming he had no news on any outgoings, and was focused only on upcoming games.
Poch said this on Dembele’s future (Football London): “No, I cannot say nothing, because it’s like last week when you asked me about his situation, I know nothing. Still no news.”
He added this on whether Spurs were close to any sales: “No at the moment we are so focused now on playing games and preparing for games. It’s such a tough period for us. At the moment I don’t have any news about players in or out.”
