Pochettino will approve defender’s transfer

Mauricio Pochettino will sanction the departure of Danny Rose before the transfer deadline on 31 August, according to The Daily Mail.

Most European sides have a later deadline than the Premier League had with there still being a week for clubs to bring in players.

Danny Rose has had a turbulent past year at Spurs with injury and his future in doubt.

However, even though Pochettino cannot replace the left-back with a new signing it is believed he is more than happy to rely on Ben Davies and youngster Kyle Walker-Peters.

Spurs reportedly offered Rose to Bundesliga side Schalke on the Premier League deadline day but Rose declined a move to Germany.

Interest was lodged from PSG, a move which Rose was apparently holding out for but the French side has reduced their interest in the 28-year-old.

It is believed, Filipe Luis from Atletico Madrid tops PSG’s wishlist but should a move for the Brazilian left-back not materialise we could see PSG reignite their interest in Rose.

Spurs fans, has Danny Rose’s time at Spurs come to an end?
