Pochettino likes being linked to Real Madrid and Man United for this reason

Tottenham Hotspur are absolutely flying this season under their Argentine magician Mauricio Pochettino.

Since arriving at the club, he has transformed Spurs into Champions League regulars, and has finished in the top three Prem positions for the past three seasons.

This campaign, Tottenham are enjoying their best ever start in the Premier League after 16 games, and currently sit third in the league.

The club still remain in both domestic cups too, with a NLD showdown with Arsenal coming up in the Carabao Cup, and the FA Cup to commence in the new year.

Spurs pulled off a miracle this week in the Champions League too, qualifying in second after drawing at the Camp Nou with Barca, despite only taking a point from their first three group games.

All of this Tottenham success however does breed a certain number of rumours surrounding the future of Poch, and the manager has now spoken out on why he is not bored of these headlines.

When asked if he was tired of them he said (Football London): “No, no. Why? This type of news I think does not upset or bore people. I prefer that newspapers talk about things like this than talk about ‘Tottenham is going to sack me’ or ‘people are tired of me’ or ‘we are in a difficult situation’. Of course, if I choose one situation I choose this one. I am not bored of it, of course.”
