Pochettino reveals he will be watching Tottenham vs Man City cup final

Former Tottenham head coach, Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he will be watching the Carabao Cup Final between the Lilywhites and Manchester City.

Although the Argentine was sacked by Spurs back in November 2019 and soon replaced by Jose Mourinho, it appears he still keeps up with the club.

In fact, there will be a little piece of Pochettino in charge of the Spurs this evening as Mourinho himself was replaced by interim head coach, Ryan Mason last week – a man who played under Pochettino in North London.

Poch, now in charge of PSG over in France, revealed that he would be heading to the Camp des Loges to watch the PSG women side against Barcelona, before watching Spurs vs City and Lyon vs Lille.

PSG are fighting it out with Lille at the top of the French league this season, while a Champions League title is still within reach as Pochettino prepares to face Man City in the next week.

While Pochettino would have always watched the Carabao Cup Final to scout Man City tactics, I’m sure that he will be rooting for Spurs, albeit perhaps through extra-time.

He said (Benjamin Quarez): “Tomorrow, I will first go to Camp des Loges to see the women against Barcelona. Then I will watch City-Tottenham and Lyon-Lille.”
