Pochettino reveals multiple players may leave the club in January

Tottenham Hotspur became the first Premier League club in history not to sign a single new player in the summer transfer window, and they seem to be following suit in January too.

However, the club have already offloaded Mousa Dembele to China, and may be set to watch some other current players leave the club too.

Of course, Spurs will only sell the players they no longer have any need for.

The likes of Vincent Janssen and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou seem favourites to wave goodbye to North London, with Fernando Llorente now needed to plug the Harry Kane gap.

Janssen has yet to feature so far this season, despite returning from a foot injury a number of weeks ago.

He has, however, been regularly appearing for the under 23 side, scoring and assisting goals.

Pochettino has now revealed that anything can happen in the last minutes of the transfer window, and players may have the opportunity to leave.

He said (Football London): “You know how we work. In the last minute everything can happen. Of course different players maybe will have the opportunity to leave the club. We’re going to see. Of course there’s not too much time.”
