Pochettino reveals nice gesture from some Everton players after Son red card

Heung Min Son is a fan favourite at White Hart Lane and is widely regarded as one of the nice guys of the Premier League with his positive and smiley attitude.

However, the South Korean was in floods of tears when he left the Goodison pitch this evening after the part he played in an Andre Gomes horror injury.

The score was 1-0 to Spurs at the time of the event after Dele Alli found the bottom corner in the second half.

Tottenham were attempting to defend their lead in order to earn their first three points on the road since January 2019 and their fourth clean sheet of the season.

However, when Son went in for a challenge on Gomes, seemingly looking to bring him down to stop the Everton attack, he caused horrific damage to the midfielder.

Gomes’ leg jarred against the turf after Son hit his ankle, resulting in what looked like a nasty break, although this had not yet been confirmed.

After being sent off for the challenge, Poch has now revealed that some Everton players came into the dressing room to console him.

Poch said (Football London): “The players from Everton came to console him. We all feel sorry for Andre in this tough moment. We want to send our best wishes.”
