Pochettino reveals two Spurs stars are in contention to face Chelsea

Tottenham Hotspur have been in the midst of somewhat of an injury crisis of late, but it looks as if they may finally be emerging from the other side of the tunnel.

As the Lilywhites took on Fulham on Sunday, they were without Harry Kane, Moussa Sissoko, Victor Wanyama, Heung Min Son, Lucas Moura, Luke Amos, Eric Dier wasn’t fit enough to start, and Mousa Dembele had recently been sold.

Dele Alli then picked up a nasty hamstring injury towards the end of the game, only making matters worse.

However, positive news for Spurs fans today, as Pochettino revealed a couple of players may be fit enough to face Chelsea tomorrow in the Carabao Cup semi final second leg.

Both Moussa Sissoko and Lucas Moura may be able to feature at Stamford Bridge, while Victor Wanyama is aiming for the FA Cup fourth round clash against Crystal Palace this weekend.

Poch said (Football London): “Tomorrow Sissoko and Lucas are in contention, Wanyama we’ll see if he can be in contention for the weekend in the FA Cup. It’s very good news in the last few days to recover Moussa and Lucas and of course Wanyama is so close.”
