Pochettino reveals why he will be holding a party tomorrow

Tottenham Hotspur boss, Mauricio Pochettino, has revealed that he will be partying and celebrating on Tuesday, but it has nothing to do with his team’s point away at the Emirates.

Spurs managed to earn a 2-2 draw away from home against their arch-rivals on Super Sunday, but Poch is more focused on the transfer window.

The European transfer window slams shut tonight, meaning that the players Pochettino has at his disposal tomorrow will be his until January at least.

This is a huge boost for the Argentine manager as he has complained about how the transfer window has left his players feeling unsettled.

Poch will now know for sure whether Christian Eriksen will remain at Tottenham player for the time being, which will be like a weight lifted from his shoulders.

Pochettino claims that these few weeks have been the worst in his time as Spurs manager across five years, so he will be glad to see the back of it.

He said (TalkSPORT): “Tuesday, we party.

“Finish the transfer window after tomorrow, I think Tuesday we are going to make a big party and celebrate.

“Because I think it was my worst period after five years in Tottenham.”
