Pochettino reveals why this man is not available on Sunday

Tottenham Hotspur are back in action this Sunday as they look to make it four wins in the last four Premier League matches.

All three points would keep the Lilywhites in touch with the Premier League leaders Man City and Liverpool.

Spurs take on Leicester City, the team that managed to hold Liverpool to a draw recently, allowing Spurs to close the gap to just five points.

Tottenham will also have one eye on the Champions League game against Dortmund on Wednesday.

However, Pochettino may be without one of his first team central midfielders again, as Eric Dier has been hit with a virus.

Dier endured over a month out over the new year after undergoing surgery to remove his appendix, and has only just settled back into the squad.

Pochettino revealed that the Englishman needs time to recover, but failed to suggest whether Dier would be back to face Dortmund or not.

Poch said (Football London): “We will see, he was affected by a virus and he needs time to recover.”
