Pochettino sends message to travelling Spurs fans ahead of NLD

Tottenham Hotspur take on Arsenal tomorrow night, with both teams looking to book their place in the final four of this year’s Carabao Cup.

The League Cup represents the first piece of available silverware for teams, and Tottenham will be craving it more than most.

The club have gone over a decade without winning a trophy now, and manager Pochettino has never won a title in his managerial career.

Tottenham will not have fond memories of the last North London Derby, but they won’t have to think back too far either.

The two rivals came head to head earlier this month, with Arsenal running away as 4-2 winners after Tottenham tired late on.

Tottenham will be looking to get their revenge on the Gunners at the Emirates tomorrow evening, and will certainly be on a high after recent Prem and Champions League form.

Ahead of this latest derby day, Pochettino has sent a message to the travelling Tottenham fans.

He said (Football London): “For me the most important is to behave properly. Respect is the most important. Of course you can celebrate and do everything with limits. If you not cross the limit it is so important to show your happiness, but always with limit. If you cross the limit you will be in a situation when you will start to be disrespectful to the opponent.”
