Pochettino still believes he is the man to take Tottenham to the next level

Tottenham Hotspur boss, Mauricio Pochettino, believes that he is still the man to take Spurs to the next level.

This comes after the club have taken just two wins from the first eight games of the new season in all competitions.

Spurs have already lost to Newcastle United, Leicester City, and Colchester United, with the latter knocking Tottenham out of the League Cup.

However, it is hard to argue against Pochettino’s success at the club since taking over, as he has well and truly transformed Spurs from a club dreaming of the Champions League to a regular in the competition.

Poch even led the side to their first-ever Champions League Final last season, as well as securing another go at it for this campaign.

The Argentine clearly feels that, despite the trials and tribulations in 2019 for Spurs, he is still the perfect manager to lead the club’s future progress.

When asked if he was the right man to take Spurs to the next level, he said (Alastair Gold): “Yes, I believe I am. If I didn’t think I was, you would have found out quickly.”

Spurs Web Opinion:

I am relieved to see these comments from Poch today. Although I am frustrated by the recent form, the last thing I want is for him to walk away after all this hard work.
