Pochettino teases that new recruit could be involved against Man City

After a season of no signings last time out, Tottenham finally invested big this summer, bringing in the likes of Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, Ryan Sessegnon, and Jack Clarke.

While Ndombele has already heavily featured for the Lilywhites in pre-season and even scored on his Premier League debut last weekend, we have yet to see the others in action.

Sessegnon is out injured and Clarke is back out on loan to his old club Leeds United, but what of the Argentine playmaker Giovani Lo Celso?

Spurs secured the signing on deadline day, meaning that Lo Celso had no chance to join up with the squad for any kind of pre-season.

He was also involved at the Copa America with Argentina, so would have likely missed the majority of pre-season either way.

While Pochettino has categorically ruled out Lo Celso starting against City, he did tease that the new boy could make an appearance on the bench (Alasdair Gold).
