Tottenham Hotspur have had to endure a plethora of newspaper reports regarding the future of their manager over the past few years.

These unsettling rumours are still circulating in the press, despite the fact that Pochettino has led Tottenham to a top-four finish, a Champions League final, and into a new stadium this season.

The latest rumour of Pochettino leaving the club comes as Juventus are currently looking for a new boss for the 2019/20 season (Sun).

There has been a new twist in the story today, as Mauricio Pochettino’s very own cousin Daniele has allegedly come out and claimed the Spurs boss could move to Juve.

The Argentine gaffer will surely not appreciate his own family feeding the transfer rumours ahead of the biggest game in Tottenham’s history.

Daniele told Tutto Juve that a move from Spurs to Juventus is ‘feasible’, and every in the Pochettino family would like to see him move to the Italian giants.

Daniele said: “In my opinion [Pochettino replacing Allegri] could be feasible, because Mauricio is a coach who has shown he knows how to work well and reaching the final with Tottenham is a clear example.

“If he plays it like he does all games, for me it’s the right year to win. I met him a few months ago, I met a very nice and helpful person.

“The Bianconeri’s goal is, of course, the Champions League and my cousin has all the useful qualities to be able to coach this club.

“Mauricio showed he had the right experience to be able to coach in Europe. With Tottenham he was able to forge a group of individuals that was not so well known.

“Everyone in the family would like to see him at Juventus. He is certainly attracted to Italy, he told us he would like to come here to find his ancestors. We also talked about Piedmontese cuisine, which he would like to try again.

“The desire is there, but honestly I don’t know if they can convince him. The decision clearly falls to him.

“In the event that he should accept Juve, we will welcome him with open arms.”

Spurs Web Opinion:

This is a very strange interview to be given by one of Pochettino’s own cousins. If it is true, I can’t believe Mauricio will be very pleased with his own family stirring the rumours ahead of the Champions League final. I also can’t see Poch swapping Tottenham for Juventus at this moment in time. I can only see him leaving for Real Madrid or PSG, but even then, not for a couple of years at least.
