Police release image of Arsenal fan who allegedly threw a bottle at Spurs player

In the last North London derby that was played at the Emirates a couple of months ago, Spurs were comfortable 2-0 winners courtesy of a goal in each half by Son Heung-Min and Dele Alli.

The classy performance by Tottenham went a long way in avenging their league defeat at the hands of Arsenal just a few weeks before the Carabao Cup quarter-final victory.

The match also had an unsavory incident when an Arsenal fan threw a bottle at Dele Alli, which struck the Spurs midfielder on the back head. Thankfully the 22-year-old didn’t sustain any injury and was able to carry on.

The England midfielder, however, did cheekily turn to the Arsenal fans and let them know what that Spurs were 2-0 up in the game.

Police have been on the lookout for the fan who threw the bottle at Alli since then, and it now appears the fan in question has been identified.

A report in The Daily Mail claims that the Police working in tandem with Arsenal football club have identified the alleged culprit and released his image to the public. It can’t be long before the perpetrator is now apprehended and handed an appropriate punishment.
