Hugo Lloris was arrested in the early hours of Friday morning after being caught drink driving.

After spending the early hours of the morning in Westminster custody, the World Cup winner was released on bail.

The 31-year-old has captained Spurs for a number of years now but following these allegations, his captaincy may come under scrutiny.

  1. Yes but not because of this! Whilst it’s not a good example to set to youngsters, he will still play for us again and rightly so if he has shown true remorse, so taking the armband is meaningless.
    However I’ve never been a fan of a goalkeeper being the captain, it needs to be an outfield player giving the orders on the pitch.
