Spurs were in Champions League action against Catalan giants Barcelona this evening at the Wembley Stadium.
Tottenham were always facing an uphill battle after returning captain Hugo Lloris made a huge error with his positioning and decision making within the space of two minutes to gift Philippe Coutinho the first goal.
It was a better performance in the second half from Mauricio Pochettino’s side with goals from Harry Kane and Erik Lamela, but we were always chasing the game, given the early error.
