Fabrizio Romano has said on CBS Sports Golazo that even though there are ‘positive vibes’ between Harry Kane and Bayern Munich, Daniel Levy has no intention of letting his star striker leave without a fight.
On Monday, we relayed an update from Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, who backed up reports that Bayern are now planning an improved offer for Kane.
The journalist stated that the Tottenham man is ‘convinced’ about a move to Allianz Arena this summer and only wants a switch to the Bavarian club.

Positive vibes between Harry Kane and Bayern
Romano has now told CBS Sports Golazo that talks between Kane and Bayern have been positive, with the striker said to be aware that Thomas Tuchel is a big fan of him.
The journalist made it clear that as things stand, the England captain has no agreement with the Bundesliga giants on personal terms.
However, he explained that the personal terms are not what is holding up the deal and that the transfer depends completely on the two clubs rather than on Kane.
Romano explained that Levy is the crucial piece of the puzzle and, for the moment, the Spurs chairman has no intention of accepting any proposal for the striker and is ‘fighting’ to keep him at the club.
He added that even though Bayern are not giving up on their pursuit of Kane, Levy will make the deal ‘very difficult’ for the German club.

Spurs Web Opinion
I believe that this situation would become a lot clearer once Kane has a chat with Postecolgou over the coming days.
I do not think it would be hard for the Australian to convince the striker to stay at the club for one more season, given that he will be a free agent next summer.
However, I do not believe it would be in Tottenham’s best interest to keep hold of him as I simply do not see the 29-year-old signing a new contract.
So, the likelihood is that he will leave on a free transfer next summer and join a Premier League rival.
