Ange Postecoglou has said that he is delighted with the way Richarlison is playing at the moment and praised the Brazilian for the kind of shifts he puts in on a regular basis.
Until a little over a month ago, Richarlison had been broadly written off as a flop by many pundits and even a lot of Spurs fans as the Brazilian continued to struggle to put the ball in the back of the net.
However, the 26-year-old has gone on a hot streak in front of goal since returning from his pelvic surgery and now looks a lot more like the player we saw during his Everton and Watford days.
Speaking to The Daily Mail last month, the striker opened up about the extent of pain he was going through for much of last season and this one prior to his groin surgery, admitting that he could not even take shots without feeling pain.
Postecoglou has been impressed by Richarlison
Ange Postecoglou would be hoping that Richarlison can continue his goal-scoring steak going, particularly with Son Heung-min now away at the Asian Cup, and the Australian admitted that he is delighted to see the forward now playing with confidence.
The Spurs head coach said about Richarlison (via Hayters TV): “I think I have said consistently he is free of injury, he feels good physically and he’s able to perform at the levels he wants to.
“He couldn’t do that at the start of the year. Even though he was playing for us he was restricted in his movements. I think it is no magic cure, he got treatment and he feels good now.
“And he’s scoring goals which makes him feel more confident in himself, but aside from that, he’s working really hard for the team at the moment which has been really important for us. He’s going well and hopefully more to come.”

Postecoglou keeps reiterating that there is more to come from Richarlison, which is a clear sign that the Brazilian is in brilliant form in training. Spurs fans would be hoping that the striker can get 15 to 20 goals this season as that would go a long way towards helping the club get into the top four.
