Poyet takes Brighton hot-seat

Former Tottenham player and assistant manager, Gus Poyet, has been appointed as the new manager of Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Seagulls had been looking for a new manager since sacking Russell Slade in October.

Poyet will take charge of his first game as a manager in the League One encounter with Southampton at the St Mary’s Stadium on Sunday the 15th of November.

Poyet will be assisted by former Spurs team-mate, Mauricio Taricco.
