Pre-season travel distance per Prem club – it doesn’t make good reading for Spurs

Unfortunately, the 2018/19 season did not end as Spurs fans would have hoped, with their club falling at the final hurdle against Liverpool in the Champions League final.

However, the club must now look towards the new season in an effort to go above and beyond what they achieved in the last campaign.

Pochettino will be hoping to start the season a whole lot better this time around, with nine first-team stars having participated in the World Cup semi-finals last time around.

The Argentine will want his players back earlier in preparation for the 2019/20 season, as well as being well-rested compared to last season.

However, Tottenham will be travelling a whole lot further than most for their pre-season games this season as they take to Singapore and Shanghai.

In fact, only Manchester United will travel more than the Lilywhites ahead of the new campaign (Football London).
