Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino will face a rather unique choice when it comes to the Champions League final in two weeks.
Spurs take on fellow Premier League outfit Liverpool in Madrid on June 1, with the winner walking away as European Champions.
However, a UEFA rule change that came in at the start of this season tasks Pochettino and Klopp with naming a squad of 23 rather than 18.
Usually, a team would have their starting XI, followed by seven substitutes who can be introduced from the bench. However, the new rule states that a manager may name a bench of 12 substitutes this year.
So, who will Pochettino choose to fill those spots from his Champions League squad? (Sky Sports)
With a rather tight-knit group of players, there isn’t a huge amount of depth to pick from, but this would be my squad of 23.
Spurs Web Prediction: Hugo Lloris, Paulo Gazzaniga, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Davinson Sanchez, Juan Foyth, Eric Dier, Serge Aurier, Ben Davies, Son Heung-min, Erik Lamela, Victor Wanyama, Moussa Sissoko, Christian Eriksen, Lucas Moura, Fernando Llorente, Kieran Trippier, Danny Rose, Harry Winks, Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Kyle Walker-Peters, and Oliver Skipp.
