Tottenham Hotspur play in their first ever Champions League final tomorrow night. Yes, the time has come already.

Spurs will be looking to cement their incredible Champions League run into the history books with a win over Premier League rivals Liverpool.

Now that Pochettino has confirmed his squad for the game, we are going to attempt to predict his starting XI, and the remaining bench.

We believe that Hugo Lloris will start in goal, with a back four of Danny Rose, Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld, and Kieran Trippier.

Harry Winks comes back into the side after recovering from surgery to partner Moussa Sissoko in the engine room.

Dele Alli, Heung Min Son, and Christian Eriksen form a three behind Harry Kane up top who returns to the side.

We believe that the 12-man bench will consist of: Davinson Sanchez, Erik Lamela, Victor Wanyama, Michel Vorm, Eric Dier, Kyle Walker-Peters, Fernando Llorente, Juan Foyth, Paulo Gazzaniga, Ben Davies, Serge Aurier, and Lucas Moura.

This would leave Alfie Whiteman, Oliver Skipp and George Marsh as unused squad players.

  1. It’s a really tough call, a fully fit Kane can offer a major threat to Liverpool. I don’t know if I’d prefer him on the pitch towards the end of the game when defender’s leg are getting tired or if I’d prefer both Son and Lucas dribbling at tired legs – potentially this scenario so can see Kane starting the game and king ok, then replaced by Lucas late on
