Predicted Spurs XI to face Norwich City in friendly ahead of Premier League restart

Tottenham Hotspur are set to play two friendly fixtures within 24 hours this week as they prepare for a Premier League restart.

The Lilywhites take on Norwich City on Friday before facing off against Reading on Saturday. However, the Standard report that Mourinho may look to keep his tactics close to his chest.

With two fixtures so close together, we believe that Mourinho will split his squad into two groups in order to test out fitness and match sharpness ahead of June 19.

For the first Norwich City fixture, we believe that it will be a strong mixture of first-team and fringe players.

Ryan Sessegnon and Japhet Tanganga take up roles on either flank as the full-backs, with Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez between. Hugo Lloris plays between the sticks.

A midfield pairing of Winks and Skipp may be one that Mourinho is keen to trial again following the internal affair last week.

Erik Lamela acts as the main midfield attacker, with Lucas Moura and Heung-min Son on either wing. Harry Kane occupies the lone striker role.

This leaves the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, Steven Bergwijn, Serge Aurier, Ben Davies, and co to perhaps be used the next day against Reading.

After all, it is unlikely that Mourinho will want to give away his preferred starting line-up before the Man United match.
