Predicted starting XI to face Newcastle United this weekend

Tottenham Hotspur take on Newcastle United this weekend at the new stadium, as they look to keep up their unbeaten record in the Premier League this season.

Spurs started the campaign with a 3-1 win over Aston Villa before earning a tough point away from home at the Etihad.

However, the performances have been somewhat lacking from the Lilywhites and Pochettino will be hoping for a more dominant display against the Magpies.

I have gone for Hugo Lloris in goal as usual, as well as backing Jan Vertonghen to make a return to the starting XI after two matches away.

The rest of the back four is made up of the usual suspects, Danny Rose, Toby Alderweireld, and Kyle Walker-Peters.

Moussa Sissoko is rested for this one as I believe two holding mids will be more than enough in the form of Harry Winks and Tanguy Ndombele.

Christian Eriksen plays the chief playmaker role, with a devastating front three of Harry Kane, Heung Min Son, and Lucas Moura.

This is Son’s first match back after his suspension for a red card against Bournemouth last season.
