Predicted Tottenham XI to face Aston Villa – Brennan Johnson starts

Tottenham Hotspur face an away trip to Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday as they look to continue their winning run of form under Ange Postecoglou.

We believe that Guglielmo Vicario will remain between the sticks for the match, with Cristian Romero and Micky Van de Ven also looking to impress at the back once more.

Pedro Porro returns to the squad following his injury, so Emerson Royal drops back down to the bench and Destiny Udogie is fit to start again on the left as he did last week.

In midfield, Yves Bissouma continues in the pivot role following his impressive showing against Crystal Palace last time out, while Pape Matar Sarr continues to be protected on the bench with his back problem.

Rodrigo Bentancur starts again on the right, with James Maddison providing the creative spark on the left side of midfield for the Lilywhites.

Up front, Richarlison is not quite fit enough to start, so Heung-min Son stays down the middle. Following his first Spurs goal last week, Timo Werner continues on the left side of attack and Brennan Johnson’s two assists off the bench against Palace are enough to earn him a start in place of Dejan Kulusevski.
