Predicted Tottenham XI to face Bournemouth on Saturday

Tottenham Hotspur take on Bournemouth this weekend in the Premier League, with the chance to seal a top-four spot for the fourth successive year.

If Spurs come away with a win from the away match, they will guarantee at least a fourth-place finish, and Champions League football for next season.

This would also allow Pochettino to fully concentrate on the Ajax game in midweek, without worrying about Everton at home on the last day of the season.

We believe Poch will make some changes and rest a few key players, whilst still going for the win against the Cherries.

Hugo Lloris starts in goal, with a makeshift back four of Ben Davies, Davinson Sanchez, Juan Foyth, and Kyle Walker-Peters.

Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama hold down the fort in central midfield, while Lucas Moura, Dele Alli, and Eriksen sit behind Llorente up front.

I would rest Son and Sissoko from the start, purely out of fear of picking up yet another costly injury.

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. Is 4th place a guarantee of CL football this year?

With Chelsea (unfortunately) and Arsenal (also unfortunately) in with a realistic chance of winning the Europa League, that would give the winning side automatic qualification to the CL next season alongside the top 3 teams in the Premier League.

So depending on ‘who finishes where’ in the league and if either Chels/Arse win the EL, then 4th spot is not guaranteed qualification.

So to definitely qualify surely we need to come in the top 3 or win the CL outright.

  2. Janseen instead of Llorente and as per another article Kyle Walker-Peters needs a run of games which Poch won’t give him even if he provides 3 assists in a half.
