Predicted Tottenham XI to face Fulham as Thomas Frank is forced into a big change

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing for yet another London derby and we have attempted to predict Thomas Frank’s starting XI against Fulham.

It is back-to-back London derbies for Tottenham Hotspur, and after their thrashing against Arsenal last weekend, Thomas Frank will be hoping his side can get back to winning ways.

Up next for Spurs is Fulham, who are set to visit the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and unlike Tottenham, Marco Silva’s men come into this league fixture off the back of a win against Sunderland last time out.

Frank rang the changes against Paris Saint-Germain during Spurs’ Champions League encounter, and we could see further changes here against Fulham as the Tottenham boss looks for a response.

With Spurs chasing a win, we have now attempted to predict Tottenham’s starting XI for their league fixture against Fulham.

Predicted Tottenham lineup vs Fulham

Goalkeeper – Guglielmo Vicario: The Italian was well beaten against Paris Saint-Germain as he could do nothing to prevent all five of PSG’s strikes; however, against Fulham, he will be hoping to keep things tighter at the back.

Right-back – Pedro Porro: The full-back came back into the squad against PSG, having missed out in the derby game against Arsenal, and we expect him to continue at right back once more here.

Centre-back – Kevin Danso: Cristian Romero had a howler against PSG as his sloppiness on the ball led to a couple of goals on Wednesday night. He is banned from this game against Fulham, having picked up five bookings in the opening twelve games, and so, Danso should start here.

Centre-back – Micky van de Ven: Radu Dragusin is still not fit enough to feature for Tottenham, and so van de Ven should continue at the heart of the defence, having not missed any league games this season.

Left-back – Destiny Udogie: Djed Spence has not really impressed of late for Tottenham and Frank could look to freshen things up at left back with Udogie coming into the side after missing out against PSG.

Pivot midfielder – Joao Palhinha: The Portuguese midfielder was rested against the Parisians in the Champions League, but he should be ready to go against his former side this weekend.

Pivot midfielder – Lucas Bergvall: The Swede was a live spark for Tottenham in the first half in Paris, and Frank has revealed that following his impressive display, he is ready to start in the Premier League.

Centre midfielder – Xavi Simons: He has not featured from the off in the last two outings for Tottenham, and as such, he could return to the starting eleven.

Right winger – Mohammed Kudus: The Ghana international was another one who was rested on Wednesday but should return to the starting XI for the Fulham fixture.

Striker – Randal Kolo Muani: After having scored a brace and grabbed an assist, we expect Frank to stick with Muani up top as the main striker.

Left winger – Wilson Odobert: Thomas Frank should move away from the 4-2-2-2 formation he used against PSG, and that should see the return of wide players, with Odobert primed to take up the left wing spot.
