Sunday sees Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs face London rivals Fulham in the Premier League for the second time this season. Let’s take a look at our predicted Tottenham XI to face the Cottagers.
Despite an impressive February, where Tottenham Hotspur looked to have turned a corner in the Premier League with three wins from four matches, their recent performances have seen a dip in form.
They are now winless in their last two league outings. A narrow 1-0 defeat to Manchester City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was followed by a frustrating 2-2 draw against Bournemouth, a game where Spurs struggled to impose themselves against a relentless Cherries side.
Next up is a trip to face Fulham on Sunday. The Cottagers sit 10th in the Premier League table, eight points clear of Spurs, who will be eager to close that gap.
The sides could not be separated when they met in December, as a Brennan Johnson goal was cancelled out by Tom Cairney.
However, this weekend presents Postecoglou’s men with an opportunity to put things right against their London rivals. Here is our predicted Tottenham XI for Sunday’s Premier League clash.

Predicted Tottenham XI to face Fulham in the Premier League
Goalkeeper – Guglielmo Vicario: Since recovering from injury, Vicario has played every game for Tottenham. We Expect that to continue on Sunday.
Right-back – Pedro Porro: The stakes are not as high as they were against AZ, meaning some rotation could be on the cards, but Porro should keep his place in the starting XI against Fulham.
Centre-back – Cristian Romero: Ange Postecoglou has spoken about wanting returning players to regain match sharpness ahead of the Frankfurt quarter-final. Romero is likely to start but could be subbed off later in the game.
Centre-back – Micky van de Ven: As a Tottenham fan, I would love for Van de Ven to be rested, but to keep him match-ready, we expect him to get at least 60 minutes.
Left-back – Destiny Udogie: Udogie should return to the starting XI, with Spence—who was left out of the England squad—likely dropping out.
Pivot midfielder – Yves Bissouma: Postecoglou will probably freshen up the midfield. Bergvall has started regularly and even looked like he picked up a knock on Thursday, though it has since been clarified by Ange that Bergvall is fine. However, despite his strong form, he may be rested.
Central midfielder – Rodrigo Bentancur: Having been suspended on Thursday, Bentancur is available for selection and should return to the lineup.
Central midfielder – James Maddison: Maddison is set for back-to-back Tottenham starts after missing out on the England squad. Sunday gives him another chance to prove himself.
Left midfielder – Heung-min Son: Son was sharp on Thursday, adding to his assist tally. He now has 11 goals and 11 assists in all competitions this season and is expected to continue on the left.
Striker – Dominic Solanke: His performance on Thursday had everything Spurs have been missing—unselfish play, physical presence, and hold-up ability. He still needs to build match fitness, so he should start. Solanke’s England call-up was well deserved.
Right midfielder – Wilson Odobert: Odobert could be rested, with Tel and Johnson also needing game time. Squad depth means competition for places, which is a positive. However, given that Tottenham fans have called for Odobert to start every game, he may retain his spot.
