Predicted Tottenham XI to face Liverpool – Postecoglou forced into a change

Tottenham Hotspur welcome Liverpool to North London this weekend as they look to continue their unbeaten start to the Premier League season.

We believe that Guglielmo Vicario will continue between the sticks for the Lilywhites, with his familiar back four of Destiny Udogie, Micky Van de Ven, Cristian Romero, and Pedro Porro.

In the centre of midfield, Yves Bissouma continues to serve as Postecoglou’s pivot, while Pape Matar Sarr adds extra legs down the right side.

James Maddison passes a fitness test to make the XI despite picking up a knock against Arsenal in the North London derby last weekend.

Up front, Postecoglou is forced into a change with the injury to Brennan Johnson, who made his full debut against the Gunners.

Richarlison gets the nod to start over Manor Solomon, with Heung-min Son drifting back out to the left. However, Son and Richarlison can interchange during the game to keep Liverpool guessing.

On the right, Dejan Kulusevski will look to continue his own good form.
