Predicted Tottenham XI to face Man City tonight

Tottenham Hotspur face one of the biggest games in their recent history tonight, a Champions League quarter final away leg at Manchester City.

Spurs take a narrow advantage into the second leg, having won at their new stadium by one goal to nil last Tuesday.

A win, a draw, or a loss by one goal with both teams having scored would send Tottenham through to their first ever Champions League semi finals.

We believe that Pochettino will stick with Hugo Lloris between the sticks, with a three-man central defence of Vertonghen, Sanchez, and Alderweireld beyond him.

Danny Rose and Kieran Trippier occupy the wing back positions, with Victor Wanyama and Moussa Sissoko holding in midfield.

Eriksen acts as the playmaker beyond them, with Heung Min Son playing off Fernando Llorente up front.

Pochettino may go with this formation to pack the midfield and defence as tightly as possible, while giving both an aerial and pace outlet up front.
