Predicted Tottenham XI to face Manchester United – Bissouma starts

Tottenham Hotspur are back on the road this week as they face an away trip to Manchester United in the Premier League.

We believe that Antonio Conte will opt for a 3-5-2 formation from the start against the Red Devils, forced by the lack of Richarlison and Kulusevski available at Old Trafford.

Hugo Lloris starts between the sticks as always, with Eric Dier, Cristian Romero, and Clement Lenglet lining up in the back three. Ben Davies drops to the bench.

At wing-back, Conte will likely go for Matt Doherty on the right and Ryan Sessegnon for extra legs on the left, with Ivan Perisic perhaps not being up to three games per week.

In the centre of the park, we believe Conte will go for his usual trio of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Yves Bissouma when playing a 3-5-2. We saw this in the second half against Everton at the weekend and Spurs controlled the game.

Up front, of course, we have the dynamic duo of Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.

Conte did declare in his press conference this week that he wanted to start with a 3-4-3, although it is unclear whether this was simply mind games from the Italian. But if he does opt for that formation, we would expect Perisic to join the front line and Bissouma to drop out of the XI.
