Predicted Tottenham XI to face Newcastle United in the Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur face an away match against Newcastle United this week in the Premier League and will be looking to put three points on the board before their two-week break.

We believe Guglielmo Vicario will stay between the sticks for Tottenham, with the Italian arguably being the club’s most consistent performer of the season.

Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie remain in the inverted full-back roles, with little reason to change things just before a two-week rest period. In the middle, Cristian Romero and Micky Van de Ven continue their impressive partnership for Spurs.

Yves Bissouma needs to up his game a little in the pivot role, but remains in the starting XI for Ange Postecoglou’s side. However, we do see Rodrigo Bentancur come into the side in place of Pape Matar Sarr on the right of the midfield three.

James Maddison will be looking to kickstart some form against the Magpies as he lines up in the creative midfield role once again for the Lilywhites.

Timo Werner and Brennan Johnson have given Postecoglou little reason to drop them in recent weeks and we expect them to keep the likes of Dejan Kulusevski out of the team.

Heung-min Son continues to lead the line as Tottenham’s number nine in the absence of Richarlison.
