Predicted Tottenham XI to face Nottingham Forest – Maddison decision made

Tottenham Hotspur face Nottingham Forest in the Premier League this weekend as they look to gain another three points in the race for Champions League football.

We believe that Guglielmo Vicario will start between the sticks as normal for Tottenham, with the Italian putting in another fine performance against West Ham.

Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie remain the two first-choice inverted full-backs for Ange Postecoglou, with Micky Van de Ven fit enough to start another game next to Cristian Romero.

In midfield, Yves Bissouma is perhaps lucky to get another start in the pivot role as Spurs have few other natural choices. Pape Matar Sarr comes back into the starting XI in place of Rodrigo Bentancur who struggled at times against West Ham.

James Maddison is another who is perhaps lucky to start again this weekend, especially with Giovani Lo Celso and Dejan Kulusevski on the bench.

Up front, Heung-min Son leads the line as a number nine again in the absence of Richarlison. Timo Werner and Brennan Johnson have been effective for Spurs in recent matches, so they start on the left and right wing respectively again.
