Predicted Tottenham XI to face West Ham – Postecoglou makes two changes

We at Spurs Web expect Ange Postecoglou to make two changes to the eleven that started against Manchester City on Sunday.

After weeks of dealing with almost an unprecedented injury and suspension list, Postecoglou now has a few more options to choose from for the London derby against West Ham.

While the long-term absentees, Micky van de Ven, James Maddison, Manor Solomon, Ivan Perisic and Ryan Sessegnon, remain out of action, Richarlison made his comeback as a substitute against Manchester City while Cristian Romero is now available for selection after serving his three-match suspension.

There is no doubt that Romero will walk straight back into the starting eleven in place of Emerson Royal but we do not expect Richarlison to come into the team as Postecoglou would want to be cautious with the Brazilian, who underwent a pelvic surgery for last month.

We also expect Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to be rewarded with a start on the back of his impressive second-half showing against Manchester City, with Bryan Gil likely to drop out of the side.
