Predicted Tottenham XI to take on Burnley in the Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur take on Burnley in the Premier League today as they look to bounce back from four straight defeats in all competitions.

Spurs were knocked out of the FA Cup on Wednesday night and paid a heavy price for the privilege, with the already fatigued squad having to contend with 120 minutes and penalties.

As a result, we are predicting some changes as Spurs head to Turf Moor.

We believe that Hugo Lloris will return in goal for the Lilywhites after recovering from a groin injury. Both Jan Vertonghen and Serge Aurier are rested after their efforts in mid-week, with Ben Davies and Japhet Tanganga coming in.

Eric Dier retains his spot despite his antics on Wednesday while Alderweireld comes in to replace Sanchez. Oliver Skipp earns a consecutive start, with Ndombele partnering him.

Dele Alli, Lo Celso, and Bergwijn all start, but we expect them to all be taken off before the final whistle, likely replaced by Harry Winks, Lucas Moura, and Erik Lamela.

Gedson Fernandes also starts in an advanced position after his bright spell against Norwich.
