Predicted Tottenham XI to take on Chelsea in the Carabao Cup this evening

Tottenham Hotspur take on Chelsea in the Carabao Cup fourth round this evening as they work their way through their congested fixture period.

With a Europa League qualifier on Thursday and Manchester United away in the Premier League at the weekend, Mourinho has already hinted that he will field a weakened team against Chelsea.

We believe that Joe Hart will be used between the sticks this evening, with Lloris being rested for the Europa League.

Serge Aurier replaces Matt Doherty at right-back while Sergio Reguilon comes in for his Spurs debut at left-back. Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld provide a strong central defensive partnership.

Harry Winks makes the starting XI alongside Moussa Sissoko in central midfield, with Tanguy Ndombele starting in a more advanced role.

Erik Lamela and Ryan Sessegnon line up on the wings with Steven Bergwijn playing a makeshift striker role as Harry Kane drops to the bench for the Carabao Cup fixture.
