Predicted Tottenham XI to take on Man City at the Etihad

Tottenham Hotspur take on Man City this weekend at the Etihad in only their second match of the Premier League season.

Despite a lacklustre first half, it has been so far so good for Pochettino and his players, after they defeated Aston Villa 3-1 on the opening weekend.

However, few teams can boast a better start than Pep Guardiola’s Man City, as they demolished West Ham United 5-0 away from home in their first fixture.

So, both teams are heading into this one off the back of a win, and they will each be eyeing a chance to maintain their 100% records whilst taking points off a title rival.

I believe that Hugo Lloris will start in goal against the Citizens, with Pochettino opting for a back five to provide a little extra cover to the inexperienced Walker-Peters, who will probably be tasked with marking Sterling.

Rose, Vertonghen, Sanchez, Alderweireld, and Walker-Peters make up my back five, with Harry Winks and Tanguy Ndombele in the holding positions.

Eriksen then sits a little further forward in order to pull the strings, while Harry Kane and Lucas Moura occupying the striker positions.

What do you think of this team? Would you make any changes?
