Predicted XI vs Arsenal

4-2-3-1
GK – Hugo Lloris
Mauricio seems to play Hugo in every game in every competition if he is fit, no one can doubt he is our best goalkeeper, but I’d like to see Vorm given a few games this season.
RB – Kyle Walker
Although Trippier is fit, the magnitude of the game combined with Walker’s excellent performance against Palace; I believe Mauricio will stick with his first choice right back.
CB – Jan Vertonghen
The most experienced defender at the club will be needed to add calm and assistance to the players who are less experienced in such an important game. For example if Toby Alderweireld plays, it will be his first North London Derby, he may need Jan next to him as a familiar face.
CB -Toby Alderweireld
I believe Mauricio will play a strong team and this includes Toby. As I mentioned previously, his strong relationship with Jan at centre back will be needed against Arsenal. I feel playing Kevin Wimmer in a game of this magnitude in his second start in English football may just be too much to ask.
LB – Ben Davies
Much to the surprise of many fans, Davies seems to have strolled into the first team this season, he has performed well throughout though and I have a feeling he will be prefered to Danny Rose who looked bereft of confidence against Qarabag (Most probably due to his sudden lack of game time).
CDM – Eric Dier
The majority of fans will want to see Eric in the line up this evening. He has been fantastic in his new role behind the defense and he will need to try and nullify the attacking risks Arsenal possess in Ozil and co.
CM – Dele Alli
Playing Dele in a North London Derby at the age of just 19 having only started his first top flight game around 12 days ago is a risk, however it’s a risk I believe Mauricio will take as he performed well against Palace at the weekend and seemed composed on the ball. In addition, Mauricio has very few other options in the centre of midfield at the moment with Mousa Dembele, Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb all out with injuries.
LAM- Christian Eriksen
After welcoming Eriksen back to the Lane on Sunday, he looked fit and ready to start playing whole games for Mauricio again. I was at the game on Sunday and I think he looks excited by the prospect of playing with Son and this was shown by the two of them combining for Son’s winner.
CAM – Heung Min Son
Son was brilliant on Sunday, he looked full of energy and willing to take on defenders at will. He should definitely start against Arsenal as he makes our attack look pacey and more likely to create something for Harry Kane. The only issue with Son is it looks as if he is only fit enough to play 70 minutes of a game at the moment.
RAM – Erik Lamela
This position is a toss up between Erik and Nacer Chadli. The latter tends to perform well against the big teams, although I believe Mauricio will stick with his Argentinian counterpart as he has performed better than normal in his past two games, and Mauricio is likely to want to build up the players confidence.
ST – Harry Kane
We don’t have another striker. All jokes aside, he is a great player and is working hard all the time, he did really well against Arsenal last season at the Lane and we are all hoping for a similar performance this evening!
Prediction for this evenings match, 2-0 Tottenham. Kane and Son with the goals.
