Predicted XI to face Dortmund in the Champions League

Tottenham Hotspur face one of the biggest games of their season so far as they come up against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League tonight.

Spurs enter the Wembley fixture in hot form, with four wins from their last four Premier League matches, but these victories haven’t exactly been comfortable.

Tottenham will need to be stronger defensively and more potent in attack if they are to best the German League leaders.

A draw would be a good result for Spurs to take to Germany, as they will likely have their first team stars back from injury by that point.

We believe Pochettino will start with Lloris in goal, and a familiar four of Kieran Trippier, Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez, and Jan Vertonghen in front.

However, he may choose to play Trippier from the left and Serge Aurier in at right wing back, with Rose and Davies both out injured.

The occasion proved to be a little too much for Walker-Peters in Barcelona, so he may start this one from the bench.

Beyond the defence, Poch should name an unchanged Winks, Sissoko, Eriksen, Son, and Llorente.
