Predicted XI to start against Chelsea at Wembley

Tottenham Hotspur take on Chelsea at Wembley this Saturday, the first of three huge games in a week for Pochettino’s side.

Spurs face Chelsea as the late Saturday kick off, followed by a must-win Champions League tie against Inter Milan midweek, before a North London derby against rivals Arsenal next weekend.

It could prove to be an extremely vital week for Tottenham.

Luckily Spurs have come through the international break pretty unscathed, and were even able to get a couple of injured players back.

Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez shook off their respective injuries and will likely both start on Saturday.

Aurier comes in for the injured Kieran Trippier who was forced to withdraw from the England squad.

Alderweireld, Lloris, and Davies also retain their places.

Harry Winks slots into midfield with Dele Alli, Lucas Moura, and Christian Eriksen ahead of him.

Eriksen only played 45 minutes for Denmark on Monday so should be more than fit enough to start.

Harry Kane leads the line after his Nations League heroics.

The Argentine trio of Lamela, Foyth, and Gazzaniga are not expected back until Friday, so starts for them were always unlikely.

Sonny sat out South Korea’s friendlies this week, but we expect him to be rested for the Champions League.
