Prem manager reveals how much he thinks Kane is worth – is this a bit low?

Tottenham Hotspur almost got off to an awkward start when they faced newly-promoted Aston Villa on the first day of the season earlier this month.

The visitors to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium took the lead early on and looked as though they would hold onto the win before a superb Tanguy Ndombele equaliser.

Despite Villa early good form, Spurs then dominated the game with substitute Christian Eriksen running the show.

Spurs finally managed to break through a stubborn Villa defence with just minutes to go as the ball bundled its way through to Harry Kane who made no mistake.

The England captain then doubled his tally soon after with a fine finish into the far corner of the net, sealing the 3-1 win for Spurs.

Aston Villa manager, Dean Smith, was positive about the performance and claims that they won’t have to play away to the likes of Kane and Spurs every week.

He also claimed that Harry Kane was worth about £100m.

Smith said (Aston Villa Press Conference): “We won’t have many games tougher than Tottenham away, and it took them until the last four minutes to take our point away from us.

“That was somebody who would probably cost £100 million in Harry Kane.”

Spurs Web Opinion:

Double that price tag and add a bit more! I couldn’t see Spurs selling up for less than £200m.
